The View From East St.Louis

We have been very fortunate when it comes to family. By that I mean our support system of parents and siblings. One of our fore frequent visitors is Beth, Debbie's sister and, on occasion, her husband John. You may remember that earlier in the month John visited our northern michigan paradise and spent a bit of a morning in Munson, the hospital where the kids were born.

Beth emailed me the last five photos the other day, asking that I post them. Of course I replied. Yet when I went into my wacky download folder on the desktop here I found a few more images that she had sent me. I don't remember posting these so I am doing so now.
I am aware that in one of the photos there is snow. Yes I am aware that it is May. Yes I am aware that it is Memorial Day Weekend. Yes I know that summer is around the corner. But seeing this snow made me think of the long, hard winter, where the only thing that I think fondly on was the birth of Sophia. Can't ignore the snow as it will be back before we know it!

We(the whole family) are very fortunate to have Beth come visit us and we are very glad to have her be such an important part of the kids' lives.

That wasn't my tummy making that noise! It was him!
