Meijer Thrifty Acres

I believe that this was our first trip to Meijer, or any grocery store really, as a family of four. Thankfully the store wasn't too busy on a Sunday morning or else it could have been a lot crazier!
I lost the fam and found them in the healthy eats aisle.

Cereal???
"Hey Dad, what's that over there?"
Um, let's take a look!
Pork Hocks....not quite sure what a hock is. Pig Spit?
Pigs Feet...can marinated monkey meat be far behind? Or great big globs of greasy grimy gopher guts?
close...
What is Manteca?
Ohh...Lard!
There you go sweetheart, what do you think?
Our cart, sans pork hocks, pigs feet, lard or pickled eggs....
The Black Sheep eh?

Isn't this a bean?

Which ice cream should we get? Well allow me to debate the flavors....
While I tend to not believe stuff in the Globe you gotta wonder if ruining the lives of so many eats away at this, I hesitate to even say it, man. On Memorial Day remember that the hidden legacy of Bush's War: thousands of young men trying to re-enter life with traumatic brain injuries.
